Hi all. so about 3 years ago.. I got diagnosed with Mono. At first, i did not know that i had it. i had swollen tonsils with white spots, and a mouth ulcer. (i get mouth ulcers all the time.. familial). i then got prescribed an antibiotic to treat the swollen tonsils. Did not work. At that point, i was about 3 weeks in when i then discovered swollen lymph nodes. i immediately went to my Doctor. I tested positive for mono. I had a small fever a couple times up to that point but nothing serious.. never felt sick. then a couple days after i went to the doctor (about a month into having mono) i got the worst sore throat i have ever had in my life. it lasted a few days and then went away. But ever since i had mono, my stools have been loose. For 3 years. they are not always watery, but just not the log we always strive for and they are kinda soft. i talked to my doctor about it and he shrugged it off as IBS and said i havent lost weight and that it was probably nothing serious. But when i google chronic diarrhea, of course some of the conditions can make you test false positive for mono- none of the conditions being good. has anyone else shared these symptoms with me?
