Weird Period Symptoms

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hello all,

I am on day 3 of my cycle. I haven't had one since July. I don't know what is going on but today I feel all kinds of weird. My legs feel wobbly, my head feels funny sort of like migraine-ish, my chest has like an anxious feeling. I am drowsy and feel weak. Anyone else get this way on their period? I feel like I'm losing it.

    Hi Shar,

Yes, by day 3 I am usually wiped out just as you describe. The bleeding is light these days, but the other symptoms are a living nightmare.

Hugs to you, and hope day 4 is better for you.

    Hi Shar 😃

It's strange that you posted this today because I have been feeling really similar with my period this month, it's horrible. I have also been feeling nauseous. saw my GP Monday and she said she thinks it is the perimenopause (I'm 46). She is still sending me for an internal scan though because of how my periods are.

I really hope you feel better very soon x

I don't know if it's because I haven't had a period consistently in a long time or what. Even when I ovulated I had weird symptoms with my digestive system. This is one rollercoaster ride I can't wait to get off.

I can day that I totally understand because it sounds like we have similar symptoms.

My digestive system has been all over the place the last two years and I get a tight chest at times as well .. always a new symptom eh 😉

Yes and these symptoms all come with the feeling of discomfort and uncertainty as to what is really going on.
