Weird scenario: cat hissed in my mouth

Okay so, I recently adopted a kitten from a neighbor. Not much medical history of the kitten was exchanged, but it overall seemed healthy. So, I took it home. Tonight I was cuddling with her (she was on my chest asleep) then she got startled out of nowhere and hissed in my face while my mouth was open. She's calm now, but my throat is very tingly now and I don't know what that's about. What should I do? I still there like something in a cat's saliva that would make it tingle?
