Weird sensation in head of penis, exhausted every option.. HELP

Posted , 2 users are following.

Every since I got treated for Chlamydia I've been having this weird sensation (not really and itch or pain) inside the head of my penis a little below the opening. Its been going on for almost half a year now... I've done multiple test and have no STD or STI (even took a test last 2 weeks ago and still nothing)... I've went to Dermatology to see if its a skin thing and no luck... I've gotten a Cystoscopy and no luck.... the "sensation" last no more than 3 seconds and happens daily. I know my doctors said I'm clean but I fear one day upon trying to have a child or have unprotected sex I may pass something unknowingly unto my partner...... and that'd destroy me..... Its not an issue with my detergent or soap, I've changed them multiple times, I've used treatments for yeast infections because I thought it might be there and still no luck....  Right now I'm out of options and just looking for suggestions on what it could possibly be. Hopefully someone can help.

Can you detail the sensation you're feeling for us? Where is it located? Any lump associated with it? Any discoloration, pains or sensations in the rest of your pelvis?

Sorry for the late reply....just now seeing this. The feeling is in the tip of my penis - a little under the opening-... the sensation feels like a tingle almost but in that specific area. I never had anything like it so I'm not sure how to accurately describe it. Its not an itch and its not a pain, its a weird sensation... I guess you could say its almost like a squeezing/ pulling in sensation.... No there haven't been any lumps or discoloration nor pain elsewhere.

What's your lifestyle like? Heavy lifting, gym, sitting for extended periods? Any pressure or pain in the rest of the pelvis, behind the testes, buttcheeks?

I get a similar tugging, but it happened right as I started a masturbatory session. I've been told it's either internal damage and needs time to heal (been a month) or it's and overtightened pelvic floor. While your situation at an external cause, it might be similar to some degree. If the doc says you're clean, you're clean, especially if the newer stuff like HPV has already been checked for and not found. How long has this been going on?

Its been going on since I'd say December last year. If it is damage -which is a possibility- then I just hope it fully heals soon.

Kind of a long shot, since you stated this started just after an STI was treated so it much be some type of neuropathy from the infection, but look up "over-tightened pelvic floor exercises" or "reverse kegels" and while you might not be a yoga or stretching type, give it a whirl. Western lifestyle unfortunately causes issues sometimes with this area of the body which can manifest sensations and nerve pain in the penis, testicles, anus, etc. Worth a shot, since December is a long time.

Thanks man, I've been doing things like switching soaps (recently changed my detergent to All and soap to dove scentless...) so far its been happening less so I'm hopping it was just irritation but it's yet to fully leave to lets see.... But I'll definitely try the stretches

Worth it for sure. My pinching started about a month ago, and I've been holding off on masturbation and intercourse with the g/f for a couple weeks. The pinch part is gone, no longer nagging on a steady level, but it does give me little needle like sensations once in a while, sometimes when I strain or after I urinate. I asked my doc, and he said either a hematoma internally, or bloodclot. Said if the pain receded at all, or changed, then it's healing, but to try to change detergents and soaps. Said it's definitely not an STD/STI since those won't decrease in pain on their own, and there's a multitude of other symptoms with those, same went for prostatitis, which he said would be his next best guess, but seemed unlikely. Cancer was out of the question as there would, again, be no change in pain and the only penile cancer he's aware of occurs on the surface as a sarcoma or skin cancer.
