It may well be Athletes foot and you have caught it before it breaks out into painful skin cracks. Keep using the cream but if it doesnt make much difference go back to your doctor . You may need a different cream or maybe oral medication.

Hi, thanks for your input on this. On the 1st day I noticed burning discomfort, 2 weeks ago,I went and bought new work boots. My current were 1 year old. New boots, fresh new cotton socks, and cream twice a day. And no change at all. I then inspected my old boots sole. And the shapes are matching almost perfectly.

I post the pics below. I wonder if this could help finding out my problem.imageimage

I did begin to wonder if you had the start of a large flat blister ,but as there is no change that is slightly odd. Maybe a reaction to the material in your boots? Do you work with chemicals or something similar? is this on just one foot or both?

I work as a diesel hydraulic mechanic. Since 17 years. I buy new boots every years. I never had anything like this before. No chemicals. Just the usual grease and oil that comes with the job. And I always wear Expensive good quality protection boots.

Its also on my left foot but a third of the size of the right foot. I got this burning feeling. Especially when I work and walk on it. Sometime I feel like removing my boots putting my feet in the snow. And its more whitish after walking on it for a while. after a while without weight on it it becomes darker again.

I hope these info helps. Thanks a lot.

If this doesnt resolve with the athletes foot cream you must go back to your doctor. You may need blood tests to find out what is going on. Are you a heavy smoker?

When you talk to your doctor emphasize the fact that the area burns a great deal.
