Weird stomach feelings?

Has anyone had weird tight feelings in their stomach? I've suffered with probably most health anxiety worries/symptoms you can think of. My main one I am getting over is a breathing obsession and obsessions that theres something wrong with my heart. For the last few days I have a horrible tight, almost 'sucked in' feeling in my stomach. Feels like I can push it out properly to take a deep breath (so not sure if its linked to my breathing obsession). Its more uncomfortable than anything. When I forget about it I don't notice it,

I have been to the doctors 4 times over the past few months for the same thing, had checks etc and everything is always perfect.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing?

    Hi Georgina,

I experience tightness and pain just about the stomach below the chest and it is horrible. It caused me to have my worst anxiety attack to date. If the doctor has done tests and you're all clear the next step is a psychologist. Learn about your anxiety and how to control it. If that works maybe try medication. There's always something you can do. You're not alone and good luck! Always here to talk

Thanks Adzy smile yes! I have the same too, like a tight band under my rib cage, horrible. One doctor said he thought I could have acid reflux but I don't think its that.

I've had two rounds of CBT in the past and I am on Citalopram but just been going through a bit of a relapse after a few years of being fine.

      Thanks for your reply smile

You seem like you have it pretty under control! But I understand having the reassurance that you're not the only one helps so much. That's why whenever I see someone worried about a symptom I also get I always comment because knowing you're not alone is a huge help

try relaxation exercises..let all tensions go away from abdominal muscles..

for that, .. may contract muscles a bit with calm mind (eyes closed) and then release the tension..

how much is your breath rate per minute..

relaxation (mental and physical)  is most important here
