    Hi Frankie

im 47 had the bloods done all saying normal, but my dr said with the symptoms I am having its definitely peri, same as you plus palpitations, panic attacks and now my periods have gone to 3 weeks, since this has happened I have come out in lots of small red spots all over my back and bottom, they fade away and once again my period as come and I have the spots again, it freaked me out completely at first, but I am also waiting for a allergy blood test, so they could be all connected who knows with this peri, I have never felt as strange, but I have started on batch flower for anxiety and it as helped massively, can't recommend it enough, so you are not alone, please try not to worry xx

Yes I had very heavy and painful boobs and insomnia at the start of peri. And I have several brown "age spots" come up on my face.

Some extra moles also arrived between my boobs and over my rib area.

Also liver spots on my lower arms.

    Hi frankie

I too get these brown 'age' spots on my hands.  Sometimes they are deep brown, awful looking, and then they fade.  When i feel really ill, they appear. Like if oestrogen has dropped.  Mentioned it to the doctor (female, but young!) and she looked at me and then prescribed anti-anxiety tablets.  which I didnt take.  Nice to know that others have this too.

Hi Frankie I am 50 and am i peri too. My boobs ar econtinually painfu and sore or feel really "full" feeling. Hurts more nearer I get to my period (which obviously doesn't always arrive though!) If i miss one the sore boobs stay on - grrrr. I had a large mole appear under my right breast last year which I absolutely flipped out about but after having it throughly checked all was well and is hormonal based.

Other than this its a rack of worry, anxiery, bouts of unexplained crying, aches and pains (right hand side under ribs usually) and sluggish disgesion.

I gave had acupuncture though which has been an amazing help (and I was very scetical befor eI trie dit) btu I am now going every week and drinkinglts of fresh good quality mineral water and gradually replacing tea wiht Ginger tea. I also only eat before 8pm to try and avoid night time indigestion.

Hope you are feeling OK though and find this forum as much a help as I do . Its really good for helping you feel noral and not so lonely in suffering with this time of our  lives. What a ride eh!? :-)
