Weird Symptoms & Health Anxiety

Hello, everyone.
I've been dealing with health anxiety for over 20 years. I just turned 40 years old.
Just recently with online teaching, lockdowns and the death of my grandfather, I was chronically stressed and I've developed some twitches in hand and feet. I never had that before, so you can imagine where my anxiety took that.
However, now I have a strange buzzing or vibration in my left foot. It pulses. What's stranger is that if I tap my heel, it seems to vibrate it further as if it were a bell. I don't know what's going on but I'm flipping out.
Any ideas?Insight?

Yes the twitching, the buzzing vibrations feeling are very common with anxiety. I have had those countless times over the years. You are going through a lot and I’m not surprised you’re getting those symptomsyes the twitching, the buzzing vibrations feeling are very common with anxiety. I have had those countless times over the years. You are going through a lot and I’m not surprised you’re getting those symptoms. it’s just your brain responding to your stress. Try to relax your mind as much as you can with meditations, etc. You’re going to be OK. many people on this site get those exact symptoms plus many more. of course always get your yearly check up with your doctor. Take care

When my anxiety is peaking my whole body buzzes or hums. A perfect example of this happened about 15 years ago when my husband and I went on a cruise. I had been going through a particularly rough patch with anxiety and I actually had to ask my husband if the vibration I was feeling was me or the ship's engine. The feeling was so similar.

Interesting. I have a LONG history with anxiety (25+ years) and am currently being tested again with tremendous stress, worry, etc. After the initial pins and needles sensations in my hands, forearms, legs, feet etc. I tend to develop a "buzzed" left foot. It usually starts on the top of the foot and moves around the toes, heel, etc. This happened to me about 25 years ago and it has made a return...after I had a semi-breakdown from the stressors in my life. But yes, there are others of us out there that had/have just what you described.
