Weird Symptoms/subconscious Anxiety

Does anyone else seem to have anxiety symptoms that are bizarre or have anxiety symptoms without actually knowing or feeling you’re anxious? Its so common to hear testimony from others about how they have extensive medical work ups (been there done that) but find NOTHING! For me personally I struggle with medical and general anxiety with panic attacks. I can say for certain my symptoms come in “waves” and transform just as I convince my mind that things are OK. I commonly experience an elevated heart rate (less than 100 though greater than 80), abdominal discomfort, palpitations, shakiness like my blood sugar is low, feeling like I have “forgotten” how to swallow saliva or like my swallow reflex is gone (works fine to swallow water and food), shallow breathing or breath holding and tingling in my face and lips. Anyone have any strange symptoms or occurrence of symptoms without feeling anxious?

I can definitely say speaking with a counselor has helped tremendously. But frequently any little symptom can send me searching with Dr. Google (10/10 WOULDNT RECOMMEND)

you don’t have to feel anxious to have anxiety symptoms. Anxiety can be underlying where you don’t really notice it or it could be out in the open. I’ve been going through this for over 30 years and have had every anxiety symptom possible. Sometimes I’ll get it when I’m perfectly still, but usually it’s when I have been recently anxious.

using Dr. Google won’t solve anything. All it will do is scare you for nothing because nothing on there you’re going to read will pertain to your individual situation. You can take any symptom and they can go with 100 different conditions so it’s just not worth reading all that junk. When you read on Dr. Google you are telling your brain that you have certain illnesses when in fact you don’t. So that’s when you start getting symptoms.

when I finally just admitted to myself that I have anxiety and every now and then I will get some symptoms, things actually got better. I don’t get into a panic about it anymore because first of all anxiety symptoms are not going to hurt me and secondly when I do get panicked, all my symptoms get worse. So it’s just not worth it.

the doctors won’t find anything wrong with somebody who has anxiety. You can do 100 different tests and it won’t show anything.

im happy to hear that you were in counseling. It’s very helpful! keep going if you can.

This happens to me all the time. I will feel fine and suddenly get nauseous or have chest pains and suddenly I feel anxious and ill. It's crazy because I won't be anxious at the time. Sometimes I'll just be playing a game with friends and suddenly I can't focus and feel out of it and panicky. I've felt ill a lot at work lately too. It is so frustrating and makes me feel alone and scared. 😦
