I've noticed there is this reddish, raised cord like thing on the back of the shaft of my penis. It looks like a vein but it is raised and only around 1 inch long .

True - there isn't a complete ring as I look again. It is a very curved line, though. Trying an anti-fungal cream whouldn't do any harm. Daktarin or Canesten has worked for me in the past.
