Weird tickle in the ear years after surgery.

i had a Tympanoplasty back in 2013, and ever since i have this weird tickling sensation in the ear. If i rub my tongue on the roof of my mouth i feel it. My ENT has said nothing is wrong but it drives me crazy. It has been an issue since my surgery and causes me to scratch to bad that i have had skin breaking inside the ear. I have tried sterroid creams and ear cleaning but nothing has helped.
