weird uti.

hey im looking for help please. My doctors are not helping me. About 2 months ago i had an infection that required me to use ceftriaxone. It took me a month for them to tell me i had an infection but the weird thing was it never showed up on the uti test, i believe it was a culture, but i had many culture before that that came back negative. I was feeling better and now 2 months later i have similar symptoms, but when i went to the doctor and had a urine analysis it came back negative as well as the culture. Is it likely to have a simialr infection or would it be something else. Mind you i take OAB pills and they have worked for years now would they just quit on me.

You really need a good urologist. It seems here in the UK they are very difficult to find.  I had urology problems for years but have been OK for a year now since I took a months course of Ciprofloxacin. That antibiotic is given to men as it penetrates the prostate. After years of neglectful none treatment an infection eventually got into my prostate. The urologist had the audacity to tell me I could not prove I had had an infection! I asked him then where have all the adverse symptoms gone?  This included all the symptoms of a bad prostate infection and even saw blood in my urine. Seeing blood in ones urine should galvanize the sufferer into positive action and it did that.  I was still given a script for a week of that antibiotic but obtained and took it for a further three weeks as per Mimms directive........

My symptoms zeroed and have been that way for over a year now.......

This leads one to ask oneself what do they know as so called experts?
