Weirdest internal body sensations - really worried

Hi everyone, first time posting. I have been recently going through a significant stress/anxiety episode (again). I've been having symptoms which I have never had, and its sky rocketed my anxiety, which makes it worse. I had tingling internally from top to toe and even most recently my tongue and lips. My Dr says its just my over sensitive nervous system, my health anxiety says its much more.
has anyone had symptoms like this ? when its bad its like my who body is vibrating on the inside. i take a daily dose of Paxil amd have increased it.

Hi im sorry you feel so bad and going through the torture of anxiety . If your muscles tighten up they can vibrate from tension / stress .. It could also be from your medication . Your doctor is probably right , over sensitive nervous system during anxiety / panic can make you twitch , shake , trimble ,and vibrate .. Try a hot bath with 2 cups of epsom salt

thank you Vicky I appreciate your reply. I realise that I have been under serious stress for a long time too due to my daughter having a chronic illness. I've spent 2-3 years stopping breathing at night due to muscle tension in my chest, its like my body just locks up. its given me chronic pain for that time too. I have been learning to breathe properly again and practice everyday, and took swimming lessons to help. I didnt actually however realise how bad I had become, and how the health anxiety had taken control. We become good at hiding, until being bowled over.

So true , pebblesnz i understand your pain . My anxiety started a year ago when my dad passed away , i quit eating which made my body so deficient in vitamins and electrolytes , i hid me not eating until i had los t so much weight and gotten so weak i couldnt hide it any longer ,most of my vitamins have built back up except my vitamin D and that deficiency alone causes anxiety , / panic , palpitations , IBS , gastritis plus a list of symptoms . I have gastritis as well . I have been on D3 4 months but it takes along time to replenish it ! Thanks to God i am improving , slowly . Do your doctors have you on a pap machine at night ?

oh Im so sorry about your Dad, grief is hard. Well done Vicky for getting back to where you are, that takes courage to move forward. Funny thing is about the stopping breathing at night, it stopped around 3 weeks ago which is great, but was replaced with this internal jitters. honestly cant win sometimes. I have been taking 10 mg of paxil but building this up to more.

The jitters can be from the paxil ?

I dont think so, I have been on the 10mg for a long time, and my internal vibrating and now tingles was before I started the increase.

Have you had your vitamin D and Magnesium levels check ! A deficiency in either can cause internal tremors /vibrations

I have random tingling every day, but mostly in my lower lip and lately in the back of my head. I've been checked for a lot of things and everything has come back normal. I do think my anxiety is mostly to blame.

I sympathize with you because mine is the same way. I can be having a great day and forget about it and the tingling will start and I start getting really anxious that it's something serious.

Oh dear Mandy, just like me, though I have gone next level, I'm really looking forward to those going, its hard work learning how to unwind and relax, but we will get there.

everyone with these weird anxiety symptoms please read. I am a veteran of this . to tell you upfront, I am in my 50s. I have been through every symptom of anxiety and stress that you can think of.
It all started in my 20s and I thought for sure I had some horrible disease. But I am still here and those symptoms from anxiety will not hurt you even though they feel scary and weird.
I had internal tingling all over my body, external tingling, muscle twitching everywhere on my body, floaters in my eyes, ringing in my ears, shortness of breath, rapid heartbeat, fuzzy head feeling like de personalization, and many more.
All of my symptoms came on suddenly so you can just imagine what I was thinking!
Plus there was no Internet then so I literally felt like I was the only one in the world and that I was going to die.
tests we’re normal and I just couldn’t believe that. Something major must be wrong I was thinking. Well it all turned out to be caused by unmanaged long-term stress and anxiety. You see, anxiety tends to target the nervous system that’s why you get the tingling. the human body can only take so much stress before it has a breakdown. That’s when you get the symptoms. The symptoms are not the problem, the problem is unmanaged stress and anxiety. It’s like the straw that broke the camels back.
we need to take care of our body and mind.
these are somethings I learned along the way and somethings I did.
i got some counseling for my anxiety and life events that I couldn’t manage on my own, I started eating healthier and staying hydrated, this might sound weird but I put myself first. If you don’t take care of yourself, you can’t be happy with anybody else or help anybody else. Make yourself a priority.
relax your mind as much as you can and take one day at a time. 99% of the things we worry about do not happen. Life is way too short to let fear and anxiety make us feel miserable .
i listen To great meditations on YouTube for anxiety, sleep, etc.
keep busy and Do things for others.. this keeps your thoughts off of yourself.
keep A positive attitude and be grateful for everything in your life. There’s so much more but this is a start. Everyone should have a physical exam at least once a year and if everything is OK, then get on with your life and enjoy it! Don’t second-guess test results. Your doctor is correct, your nervous system is responding to your stress level. take care ❤

Ok, sorry for my late reply. I actually typed 2 yes 2 replies to your wonderful response to me and both didnt work ! argg. I was on my iphone, so am now under more control on my computer keyboard 😃 Firstly Jan34534 thank you so much for your kind words of wisdom, you truly are knowledgeable, and I feel quite humbled that despite being a similar age to yourself, I still keep falling into the trough. Mine too started when I was in my 20s when I was pregnant. It was the most terrifying and misunderstood time of my life. I do look back on it now with fonder memories and see it for what is was, however it did leave me a tad scarred. You are so correct, and I have been pondering your reply today and thought to myself, you know we take care of our hair, clothes, we go to physio if we are hurt, but what about our minds? I dont seem to recognise when I am heading down that same path until I splat face down, and I am then struck with complete surprise that how am I here again? But seriously, when I look back and reflect its no wonder. The past 3 years have not been any easy time for various reasons, and my go to is emotional shut down, and with a chronically ill daughter I just had to put myself last. I have booked 6 advance sessions with a psychologist for CBT and aim to break the cycle. On another note regarding the physical symptoms, I have seriously never had anything like this with whatsoever. It did start a few weeks ago with a wee tremor inside my belly, and then in my chest, until boom I really took notice of it and then the anxiety went chaotic, I was literally shaking internally from head to toe, and and one point could see my brain rattling. Convinced it was PD or MS I spiraled like a ......... and event last night dreamt I had an MRI and they found a significant disease ! (I have a long way to go) It has settled significantly to that, however my tongue and lips still tingle and were burning yesterday, and my hands shake somewhat. I do however feel nervous when my hands shake. I guess too that although the times I don't feel anxious, my body is still in a hypersensitive place right now. Really appreciate your advice, brought tears to my eyes last night when I shared it with my husband. xx
