Well I had injection 2months back and I still had some nerve pain . So went to doctor and am on gabatine which helps a lot .... so I went back to work and done 3 shifts and am I feeling it from me back to down me leg .

Also I went back to hospital and have got to have another mri scan as the consultant as said . That now I have a option another injection or a operation.

I am still at work coz I have to work , 4 hour shift is all I can do and then do nothing rest of me day.

I have a swollen knee which I had for awhile and am wondering if that's to do with the nerve problem.????

I am no way as bad as I was at the beginning of this awful journey but still have nerve pain down me leg .....

I worked for years as I was self employed, house keeping and ironing not ideal towards the end of my working journey. I sore me going out to work when I. Could bairly move. Pushed my self to hard ended up in emergency theatre two disc has ruptured in my back . Nearly 4 year on havnt been able to return to employment. Awaiting another operation in may. I have tried just about every none invasive treatments but to no avail . I am hoping the spinal fusion really works, I know I'll never get bck to what I was due to my fibromyalgia degenerative disc diease and hyper mobility. But if I can do a desk job a few hrs a wk that would be great
