I am newly diagnosed and had a moment of freaking out and wanting an immediate cure but after some deep breathing and taking a moment of letting it all sink in I feel better. Some moments I start to get scared and panic and then I remember I can handle this.
Research, read and see what all these wonderful ladies have to say but don't try everything at once. You will find what works for you. I think once we start trying all these things at once it almost gets worse.
Hang in there. You will get through this!!!!

It all takes time and as we all know, not one regime for one really works for another, there's always a tweak that works for "you".
I also think it's important that if you are seeing several different health professionals that they are all aware of each other's treatment plans.
Good luck Joey.
Btw, I know nothing about the yoghurt, except using for thrush in the old days.

Clob, or Dermovate over here in the UK, does work by thinning the skin, but what I have been told is that LS causes a certain ammount of thickening of the skin so the two balance out. You just have to be very careful where you apply it. There is a link to how to do this somewhere on this site. Don't be afraid of it, just use very little appropriately, especially if it has given some relief to you already. I know that it really is the only thing which can make me comfortable when thigs starts to irritate. It is always the ointment I use. I think that creams make the area feel damp and the ingredient doesn't penetrate as well. I use clob only when I feel thngs are becoming irritable and generally overnight it calms things down. Also, don't use soaps and other pproducts in the bath - water alone is fine - warm yourself and enjoy a pleasant hot bath with candles and all that jazz if you like (perhaps some bicarb of soda in it) - make sure you thoroughly dry the area, then apply the ointment, massaging in for about a minute.
You'll find a way that suits you - good luck!

Im fairly good with medical things but this blindsided me. I thought I was more aware of my bodys welbeing and now I keep thinking I must have missed something not to realize I was having a real problem. I am somewhat afraid to try some of the ideas I have read about but maybe more afraid not to.
