Well starting a new medicine next week and I'm scared

Starting Humira for my HS next week kinda scared tho. I have tried everything this is next on the list just so many side effects. I have also lost 55 pounds to see if it would help and not showing a difference except I feel better but only to hear that Humira also causes weight gain. Dear god please give me something good about this medicine anyone had success with it and no weight gain? Feeling so scared and depressed sad

    I started taking Hunira last month for my HS, so far so good. The only thing I have noticed is that I am a lot more tired after taking the injection but it's still early days for me. Try not to stress about the side effects. What effects others may not effect you. Wish you all the best.

    Hi. Well you have nothing to lose by trying it if you've tried other things with no success. I do know someone who is taking that medication but for a different reason and she does have side effects from it but I'm unsure if it has caused her to gain weight. I've read that that medication can possibly help HS but I don't know anyone who has tried it for the HS. So if it ends up being bothersome after trying it just tell your doctor and maybe you will have to try something else...even though the list is slim. Sorry I can't be more of help.
