Hi I'm using the above product, and dont know whether it is coincidental as I have been peri-enopausal for a while now, althoug hall blood tests defied my symptoms, periods now stopped aobut 6 monthds ago - afte irregular and heaving clotting periods on an irregular basis. i was suffering from hot flashes during the day and retlessness and insoomnia at night. Aches and pains and genrally weepy. The last couple of months howeve, despite not remembering to take this on a daily basis, my hot flashes seem to have gone away.... I would be interessted in who else is using this....... I am also using sage too.

I hope it has been the cream for you.
I'm just about to start cream this week for horrific perimenpausal symptoms that have gone on for 12 years. The last 3 years have been the worse. I am trying my hardest to get these hormones balanced.
After reading your post I have a smile on my face thinking I may be on to something.
I have read some great information about progesterone cream and the success stories that ladies have had.
Keep me posted on how you progess with it.
Take care and keep well

Just wondering what strength the cream was? Also were you menopausal when you started the cream?
Cheers

Yep. Trialled it last summer. Had a break until Jan this year to give me a true insight into whether it was doing me any good.
Felt last summer my bleeds were less 'clumpy', lighter and lighter in colour (I'm used to heavy, dark, lumps of liver-looking bleeds unfortunately).
But my big wake-up call came when I went to talk HRT with the nurse pract'r last Oct. Made a MAJOR mistake mentioning I'd had a few tears watching 'Don't tell the Bride' - no HRT, just a prescription for SSRIs!!
Defo not for me: think my humour was lost on the silly cow! Bloody side effects were far worse than anything I had experienced!!! As of that day I cheered myself p - and have never watched that programme since:-) !!). My husband just couldn't understand why they were prescribing 'Happy Pill, instead of HRT. At least I have his support!
I had a rotten time with a really long, heavy P over Xmas/NY so was gagging to restart the Cream. But when I started applying it on what would have been Day 14, I think the Progesterone may have bought on another bleed so I actually bled for 19 days out of 25
.
Really oddly tho', once I eventually stopped bleeding, I went into this fantastic, almost OTT 'High' - and it lasted for ages - its great! Because I didn't want to risk bringing on another bleed, I didn't actually start up with the P/Cream as I felt so good(still do actually).
I've had another P (back to usual: discharge for 4 days, light then heavier P for 4 days then 'orrible is charge for another 3 days
) and have been applying the Cream for the last 4 days. I'll have to see how tnings go now.
Did find I was a little 'over-breathing' ( not quite hyprvent'g but had to talk myself down from it!) and only a little fleshy. I just dabbed a bit of Cream on my wrists to calm them truth is I can't say if that worked as I keep myself busy and forget to monitor - but I'd probably say it helped then as I'd stopped flushing I suppose!
I'd say i'm willing to give this a go all the time I feel like I do. But when tings go nuts on me: really bad aching joints, major sweats, anxiety, fluctuating PS etc etc, then I'm back demanding HRT from that gormless cow at the GP surgery pronto! I'll try o o the more 'natural, route if I can but I won't be a martyr to it. At 54 I think there's a lot more life in this ol' do yet!!
I hope it works for you - oh, and me! - as it'd be nice to come out of this nightmare with something of 'Me' left:-) !!
Let us know how things go for you x

(Sorry about 'cryptic' nature of my last long post! Keep saying I won't type on my Tablet as it reads like Morse Code - Fat Finger Syndrome + predicted text getting the better of me!!)
