    I'm Clive from Buckinghamshire originally from Birmingham.

    I've had P.A. for over 46 years following gastric surgery at the age of 17 and am now 76 years old.

    I am nominally against self medication with B12 as it lets the GP "off the hook".  I had a long "battle" with my "one size fits all" doctor to get more frequent injections seven years ago as I was getting a return of neurological symptoms in the run up to the next scheduled injection.  As a result and after joining the Pernicious Anaemia Society we both became "better educated" about this insidious and fatal "silent killer" disease.
