Went to a dentist for teeth cleaning and now my eye is twitching!!!

Hey guys! I went to the dentist on nov 7 for my regular every 3 months scaling as usual. by the end of the section i had a bit of a hard time closing my mouth as if my mouth was locked because i opened it too wide for the whole section.
The night after my scaling, in the middle of the night i had pain on my right jaw, like the more i open the worse it got...but I tried to go back to sleep and I didnt feel anymore jaw pain the next morning
....so I went back to my dentist and she told me that I have TMJ cos both sides of my jaw are clicking. and she told me to wear my night guard which I already have.
So everything was fine until the last 2 weeks. I started to experience twitching on my left eye. First it was just a few twitches, and then it became 24/7 non stop twitching, the frequency is driving me crazy..it's like 3 twitches per minute..I went to a neurologist and my family doctor, both of them didnt think I have hemifacial spasm (HFS).
So now thinking back...I am wondering would it be possible that my TMJ is the culprit of the twitching! I had experience of the left of my nose twitching when i had my braces on (when it was still in the teeth tightening process), that nose twitching lasted me for 3 months! people have no idea how annoying it is!
Please, anyone here. if any of you guys or your friends that have/have had/currently experiencing similar experience...please help me... my doctor and neurologist dont know what happens either...and my dentist told me that a TMJ specialist would COST SO MUCH!!!! and I live alone here in Edmonton, Canada...
