wet beri beri

Can taking water tablets ( bendrofluazide ) cause a thing called wet beri beri . or even dry beri beri . & neuropathy in legs ,pins needles burning sensation,, Due to Thiamine B1 ,being lost in wee . maybe all b vits , c vits . there is something been reading called Shoshin BeriBeri as well , i understand bi is used for alcoholics . but could the thiamine help even though i don't drink , also which thiamine maybe benfotiamine.

    That drug, bendrofluazide , has a huge amount of side effects. So, yes, it could definitely cause your symptoms. It's primary use seems to be high blood pressure control. If you think it is providing a significant improvement in your general health and you want to continue taking it then you will need to try and offset the nutrient losses it causes.

    Take a high quality B vitamin complex twice a day. Don't try to take just one B vitamin, it will cause problems. Also, take a multi mineral twice a day. You can get general high nutrition by drinking a green superfood. I would also recommend organic probiotic yogurt. Organic coconut water is also good for trace minerals. You can also take a magnesium supplement each day. John
