What are the odds of this happening

I have been getting pimple like bumps on my bum cheeks for awhile now..they dont resmeble any herpes pics ive seen but i know that doesnt mean anything. They dont have fluid in them. The area burns especially when im sitting. I had a negative igg test 5 months after last unprotected sex. And have had protected sex twice since. My question is how often do people get heroes even while using a condom? Also i met a guy 1 week ago..we didnt have sex but there was alot of grinding..he was naked I had gstring. No bumpbs at the time, but started a few days later. I had shaved that area. If this is hsv2 how likely am i to have passed it on through the grinding. I thought i was being sensible no sex and no removal of underwear..he did. I am quite depressed about everything go too do with this lately, and I cant keep affording the blood tests. It takes nearly 2 weeks to get an appointment in the gum clinic which they will probably be gone again. Im also so reluctant to go out of fear this realy is herpes. Have i put someone else at high risk?

Could anyone with a little more knowledge than me offer some insight? I am terrified I have ruined someone's life not sleeping just worried and depressed all the time.

Herpes blisters don't usually look like pimples they look more like ulcers at first outbreak and then they scab over and dry out. So to me it doesn't sound like herpes.

Could it be infection or irritation from shaving? Maybe rather than going to the GUM clinic it would be worth seeing a GP, they might be able to offer advice that isn't just focussed on diagnosing STD's

Thank you for answering. Tbh my gp is male and I'm so embarrased to go and show him this area..at least the gum clinic are used to seeing this is my thinking. Also if possible could you give an opinion on how likely it is to catch herpes through protected sex and also the likelyhood of me passing this on through frottage only? I kept my underwear on he didn't..and if the outbreaks on are on the buttocks (none at that time) would it shed from that area? Has anyone ever contracted it through frottage only?. I am realy worried if I have put him at risk

It does feel embrassing but trust me he will have also seen it all a thousand times before!

I don't know a lot about transmission to be honest so I can't give a definite answer but I'm pretty sure it can be passed on even when protection is used as the sores aren't always confined to an area that would be covered by a condom.

What is making you think that it's herpes? Have you had any other symptoms other than the pimples?

Realy its the pimples in the same general area..but it is an area that i have used hair removal cream or shaved so I realy dont know. I am realy hoping it is this as i have searched everywhere online but they dont resemble any herpes pics ive seen but I know that can be missleading. They dont ever have any fluid or pus etc. It does not bother me much when standing walking etc but when sitting the area like a burning feeling. I dont remember any major first outbreak or pain fever etc. And it is over 7 weeks since ive had sex. They dont scab unless i try to squeeze them

It definitely doesn't sound like my experience of herpes...if I get an outbreak I bloody know about it! And the first outbreak I was in so much pain and felt so poorly but I know everyone can be different.

I don't know if this will help but I found this article about different skin conditions around the genital area https://www.shape.com/lifestyle/sex-and-love/truth-about-those-below-belt-skin-conditions-bumps-and-rashes

Also wondering if it could be a yeast infection or even friction rash as it came up so soon after having sexual contact?
