    hi Nicole,

    i would suggest that would need a physical inspection, Given how much fissures can bleed and cause so much pain, I don’t know any other way that could be determined.

    it's very rare for a fissure to get infected. if it did, the symptoms would be puss, discharge, swelling, and intense pain
