What are the signs that relief from pain is near?

I know that it is going to take weeks of twice a day applications of steroids. How should it feel before I begin to reduce the applications to once a day for a week, then 3 times a week and then finally twice a week forever? The dermatologist and GYN have recommended 2 weeks twice a day, 1 week once a day, etc. I am looking for some hope!

Hi Vissy, I started on once a day for 4weeks then alternate days etc I am fairly sure that I was pain free well before I got down to twice a week. I have

gone back to daily to try to limit further fusing.

    Good luck.

I remember just feeling less sore and any cuts healed.  I'm back to using it again as my minora seemed to fuse quickly the other week.

Hello Vissy. Sometimes it depends upon the severity of your condition. I had so many small splits and open areas that were barely visible to the naked eye. It took a while to calm and heaI. I also had to change to a stronger steroid as Clob did not suit at all. Also the steroid does not work in isolation, make sure you are using appropriate moisturisers and bathing/shower creams. Don't get dispondent, you will find what works for you.

The soreness and redness should hopefully look and feel better and cuts should heal over.  Any petechia should heal with the ointment.
