What are the symptoms of a ruptured kidney cyst? I have a 6.3cm exophytic cyst on my left kidney.

I reached over the other day and had a very sharp pain in the lower left quadrant of the abdomen. This happened before, at least 2 months ago now. For 4 days after the pain I bled from the front. I am being investigated to see what is causing this, but so far no bleed this time. Just wondered if anyone else has had this happen? The pain is unbearable at times.

    Sounds a bit too low for a kidney cyst, was the blood in your urine?

    Sounds more like a gynae problem.

      I have had blood in my urine for months now, we do think it could be a gynae problem, was down for a couple of biopsies, but had them cancelled as my blood sugar was too high, so I have a month to get it down as have to have a ga not being awake for that one lol. Symptoms do seem to have settled down a bit, thank goodness. Thank you for replying smile

      Hmmm if the blood was in urine and not vagina you could has possibly past a kidney stone.

      Only guessing though.
