What are these marks on my penis/testicles

Hi,

About 12-13 weeks ago I was cleared of scabies. For the past 6 or so weeks, I've started to have many new spots appear on my scrotum and also on my hands (mainly the palms) (especially in the past 2-3 weeks).

These spots on my hands will disappear if I put hydrocortisone on them for 1-2 weeks. On the penis less so - they persist for quite a while (maybe like 6 weeks?). Then new ones will pop up in different places to the old.

I know that my scabies hasn't come back. I do have some minor residual itching, but its nothing like it was. And I dont think the spots would just disspear if I still had scabies. Worth noting that I dont have any spots in between the webs of my fingers like I did when I had scabies.

What could these be? I went to the doctors 2 weeks ago, he got 3 people to look at me and they were all as confused as the next one.

They got me tested for Syphillus, HIV, Gonnorhea and Chlaymdia and tested negative for all. I even paid privately to do a herpes test and that came back negative too.

Could this continue to be a post-scabies reaction 3-4 months after being cured? I'm pretty confident that I don't have scabies (as was the doctor)!. Could this be something totally unrelated? Something going on internally in my body? Heaven forbid, some form of cancer?! Gluten allergy?

It's worth noting that the spots are painless on my penis. The scabs on my testicles are painless but can be quite satisfying when I scratch them. On my hand/palms they are like fluid filled craters that get biggish and then leave yellow dried skin after (similar to Pompholyx)

Very confused by it as google is telling me it's either Syphillus (tested negative), Herpes (tested negative) or Scabies (I really doubt that it's back). The doctor said post-scabies shouldn't really be lasting this long.

The doctor tried freezing them with nitrogen to see if they react like molluscum contagium (not sure on spelling) and it didnt react to the nitrogen as if it was that...

I've just tried applying permethrin to one of the spots on my penis to see if that helps. Will be interesting to see.

I will go back to the doctor in a few weeks, but asking on here out of convenience.

      after treating with permetrine, i ised tacrolimus for the nodules. it has helped a lot to get rid of the nodules.

      sometimes they have appeared after 9-10 months. applied tacrolimus and disappeared after 1 day.

      my dermatologist explained to me that the nodules keep appearing because of a memory that our body keeps as a reaction. it goes away with time. now, 12 months later, all super good.

    hi! im a 17 year old kid that is experiencing the same thing as you are around 7 days ago i started to develop the same red bumps as you did and i didnt think anything of it at first. maybe a allergy.., nothing serious matter but it started spreading on my genitals as well. i went to the doctors 2-3 days ago and they gave me the same response you mentioned.. "they had no clue what it was" so tomorrow i have an appointment at a std's clinic and im hoping for the best. the doctor said that it wasnt anything crazy but he wanted to be sure and see if anyone else could help. mine look really similar to yours. hoping for a text back to see if you mightve figured out what it was in the past 16 months. thank you!

    !first bumps see on testicles skin and after few weeks ago that! bumps are multiple on my testicles skin and penis

    i have been seen same problem for 1 months but i kept thinking that is normal problem before 2,3 weeks this is to much itching on my penis skin and testicles but tomorrow i will meet her skin dr.and my treatment journey started .**

    im 19 this year, im experiencing the same problem too! They will dissapear randomly and appear again in a few days time. i have then on my penis skin, scrotum, waist, inner thigh and armpits. I was very worry and did hiv herpes syphillis test but they all came out negative. I did came across nodular scabies when i first searched about it but didnt think too much as it seemed complicated. Hope you can update me on your progress. thanks in advance!

      i applied permethrin all over my body upon the discovery of this issue then carried on with crotamiton ( not really working) then i followed a family doctor prescription of betamethasone. it did make some vanish but soon they came back and i realise betamethasone ( topical steroid cream) is making my skin thinner and drier so i decided to stop it and finally came across this article. This issue has bothered me for ard a month plus

    hi I have exactly the same storry. I had scabies and than I thought it was gone. months later I got the same spots on my gentitals aswel. I checked and the doctor found scabies again even though I thought it was gone. First I had it between my fingers and now I have it hand palms and I think genitals. I scared that it is something else But I dont no what it could be. now Iam doing a scabies treatment again and hope it will be over after this one. could you keep me up to date if you know what you have. because I have somewhat the same storey as you have

    Hey mate,

    I have the exact same problem, these spots will come and go and sometimes be itchy and sometimes not. I have put every scabies cream on them but they wont budge.

    I see you posted this 3 years ago but I really want help now as to what has happened with them. Thankyou
