What are your after meal readings?

1) state your average range (and how many carbs you usually eat if you know)

2) state your average fasting glucose and h1ac

3) state if you are under insulin or oral pills

Thanks!

    My values are:

    1) after meals between 7 (130) and 11 (190), depending how many carbs I eat (between 20 to 35 carbs)

    2) Fasting levels 110 (6) and h1ac is 6.3

    3) I don't take any insulin or pills.

Please can you tell me why you want to know? Is it for research or survey or to help you with controlling your own diabetes. By the way shouldn't it be HbA1c rather than Ha1c?

The reason why I ask is for my own diabetes control.

I don´t know so many diabetics, and the ones I know, usually have unstable or very high readings.

So I am curious to know in what range are the after-meal spikes in other diabetic people.

I have MODY diabetes (a mild form of diabetes, similar to type 2 but since my childhood), and currently controlled only with diet, Doctors say my readings are fine but I am committed to reduce my after-meal spikes (which sometimes peak above 10 or 180).

By H1ac I mean Hb1ac or glycated haemoglobin.
