I use cetaphil gentle body wash in the shower. I use baking soda 1/2 cup and a little food- grade borax 1/4 cup in bath water

hello. when I was diagnosed, my GP prescribed DERMOL500 which is a substitute for soap. It does not lather up, but it is very soft and soothing. she also prescribed Hydromol as a moisturiser after every toilet visit. It seems to have kept my condition under control. I hope this is helpful.

I use Epaderm cream in the shower and the ointment to moisturise. They seem pretty good.

I use Cetaphil, it is a non soap, rinses easily and lasts awhile.I then use Vitamin E cream to moisturize once area is dry. I switch back n forth between Vitamin E cream and Emu oil. Both work for me. However everyone seems to be different and sometimes it is trial and error to find what will work best for you. Sometimes we find what works for a time and then we need to switch it up at times. Don't become discouraged. You will get there!!

Hi I have never been able to use soap in that area but like someone else here I was prescribed Dermol 500 when diagnosed but I have to mix with Epaderm cream as it is too strong on it's own. I either use wipes with these or apply when washing and find it quite soothing.Hope this helps.
