What can I expect going from 20mg to 30mg of citalopram after being on 20mg for over 10 years

I was first put on 10mgs of citalopram when i was 13 and was upped to 20mgs about a month later. i've been on the 20mgs ever since and dont remember experiencing any side effects. The 20 mgs worked really well forawhile, but i'm 26 now and have been having high levels of anxiety and depression the last few months. my therapist thinks i should up my dosage, but im a bit nervous about how thats going to make me feel after being on 20mgs for such a significant amount of time. has anyone else upped their dose after being on a lower one for so long? what was it like?
