What can I use to check my iron besides having blood drawn?

Hi, I used to go to a doctor that would check my iron regularly using a blood strip test, and then I'd get my blood drawn on occasion to get a more accurate test. My question is, I was wondering what they used to check iron with the finger prick? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm hoping it's something I can purchase so I can do it at home.

    If you search google using the words.  Blood iron test, it brings up strips you can buy.

      I'm finding a lot that are for Cholesterol Glucose, would that work the same?

      I'm hoping to find a monitor I can buy that shows me numbers, like a blood glucose meter.
