What causes a white spot with a black ring to be in my eye?

I have had a vitrectomy and retinal peel due to a macular pucker. I also have had cataract surgery. My vision has been blurry ever since the macular pucker developed. Yesterday I noticed a smallish, white dot, like a floater but it stayed when I moved my eye in other directions. The white dot was surrounded by a black ring. I saw the optomitrist but she didn't know what the cause is/was. I also have a lot of drusens in that eye. Any ideas?
