What could these be? Please read

Hi all,

I have some issues with my penis for quite a long time. In the pictures attached you can see two things. On the first one there is this tiny white bump that is not thick or rough. When my GP saw it 2 months ago it was even smaller and he told me its Pearly penile papules. But as far as I know they don't appear on this part of the penis, so I really don't know what it could be.

Some months ago I was diagnosed with genital warts so every time I saw something similar I treated it with Condyline. I'm not sure if that was correct though, because according to the GP "they are not warts".

On the second pic, ( I hope it is visible!) the skin starts to turn a bit white and rough. It is also a bit swollen. This has happened to me before and the skin was actually even more rough and white. When doctor saw it he told me this is genital warts and advised me to use Condyline . However, this appears only in this specific part of the penis (I haven't grown anything else anywhere on my penis except for these two specific parts that you can see in the photos) and I recently learned about yeast infection, for which I think the symptoms match.

I also get random pains on my penis that last for seconds.

I don't live in my home country and I don't really trust this GP, so I would appreciate any opinions!

Thank you in advance!

    Dear Dim,

The lump you are referring to is not a genital wart, but judging by its location could be a small penile lymphocele. You haven't disclosed if you masturbate or have sex frequently, but lymphoceles tend to develop after frequent or prolonged erections.

      Dear Adhari,

thank you so much for your reply. I suppose you refer to the second picture. I don't have sex frequently but I masturbate daily (1-2 times). Taking a quick look online it does look like this, but I suspect that it is a bit white, which I dont know if its normal? Also, it has happened before and back then it was much more white and bigger, so I treated it with condyline as the doctor said it's warts. I'm confused

Any ideas for the first pic? I sent a picture to my GP today and I expect his reply, but some from anyone here would be welcome!!

      Have a great day

    Hi Dimitris,

Are you referring to the tiny lump protruding from the surface of the coronal sulcus (yellow arrow)? That would be consistent with a small genital wart- possibly a recurrence, given what you said about the previous diagnosis.

I'm trying to 'fit' the white lump as a genital wart as well, but it doesn't have the typical appearance of a wart. I think if we're both unsure what it is, it's best to attend a sexual health clinic for a definitive diagnosis. Sorry can't help.

It's no big deal if you would prefer to wait to be seen before starting treatment- warts are not dangerous and you're not posing a risk to others as you're not currently sexually active.

    Rgds,

    Adhari

Thanks again Adhari for your reply. This tiny lump is there for a lot of time and it grows very slowly. It is also very soft, doesnt have the roughness of warts. From what I've read warts are growing fast aren't they?

Also, the doctor initially said it's a papule, I've sent him some pictures of how it is now and I'm waiting for a response.

I will consider going to a sexual health clinic!

      Kind regards,

      Dimitris

Genital warts can vary from being small and soft to large and firm. I wouldn't assume too much and seeing someone in clinic will be the right step.
