My armpits often get itchy, these spots don't itch or anything, but I really wish I knew what these could be and if medical intervention is needed. i do not remember since when I got these dark spots. they re bot lumps or anything, just spots. and they don't seem to be melanoma either.

They look like bruises, possibly from scratching? If this happens regularly you should consult your GP for blood tests and further assessment.

If as you say your armpits get itchy then these could be small bruised patches from scratching.

Do they feel velvety in texture?

Do these patches come and go? or are gradually increasing in number?Do you wax underarms?

There is a condition called Acanthosis Nigricans which can form in the folds of skin under the arms as darker patches but this doesnt look quite right for that. I can only suggest you see your GP or a dermatologist. If it is Acanthosis it can be caused by several things and the cause has to be diagnosed before any treatment given.

You could try using a shampoo containing selenium sulphide under your arms and dont use any deodoarnt for a while. That may help with the itch.
