Hi. I hope someone can help. I have been having pains in my ovaries and that region for about half a year. I was on yhe implant and would bleed heavy for long periods sometimes 3 weeks. And a day off then on again for 3 days etc. There was no pattern. I only really took more notice when it became very painful during intercourse and after and even if I attempted to wear a tampon. I went to the Dr's and he referred me for a ultras can which came back clear of any visible cysts. I then spoke to the Dr's again and he said it would be best to get my implant removed which had been there 2 years and was my third one. He said to try me on the mini pill (as I can't take combined due to blood clot complications in family history) he has gave me a 33 months supply and just sent me away to see what happens I guess. I have now been on it for two weeks and I am still in pain. So bad today in fact that I'm in bed now and when I sneeze nor cough it feels like something is popping. He has spoke to me about possible endo symptoms but that's all. My mum and sister both have but after having children. I have no children yet and  26. Please can anyone give me advise or support thanks x

I advise going back to your doctors and asking/demanding to see a gynaecologist. They will have more of an idea whether you have endometriosis or not and if so can start taking steps to get you back on track.

Go back as soon as you can and get the ball rolling, till then rest as much as you can, take painkillers and do NOT let it beat you smile x

Hello i am not a sufferer but i have a daughter with symptoms of heavy periods etc. and the doctor put her on the pill whcih she could not tolerate she was more ill with that feeling sick, headache and lost loads of weigh.  i then went to a healthfood shop and was recommended this Agnus Castus whcih is for this comdition of heavy periods and other womens probblems she takes 2 every day and it has helped her immensely. she is on vitamins too whcih i can let you know wich ones if you wish.  she is due to go for the op for the endio. let me know if you want to know more.

I think you should ask fo ra scn have you had one yet. DD had one but could not find anything so she is having an op and he is 99% shure it is endi.

Thanks guys. This helps alot. I have stopped bleeding about a week ago when the pill had kicked in. It almost feels like I have popped something. I get it when I tense etc too. The dr kinda said the gynoe won't do anything until I have tried these tablets but I'm frustrated. I also suffer from ibs so when I have diarrhoea the pill doesn't work. It's a nightmare.

I'm from England so if you are too, same applies. Gynaes see you once every 3 month not as long as your doctor as given you the pill for.

Demand to see a specialist he can't stop you. & if it is endo you need a laparoscopy to diagnose it and remove it. To stop/minimise the pain.

The pill just slows it down from growing so if you already have it it won't take the pain away.

Took me 5 years of being sent home from the doctors before I had an op and was diagnosed. Don't let the same happen to you

Oh I was going to say lol. I am from Yorkshire.

My waiting list for gynae was maybe 1-2 month depending on which hospital i chose and i think I waited 6 week for lap.

Don't worry, my gynae told me nothing was wrong and I didn't have endo.. I still demanded the lap and I did actually have it.

Take everything they say with a pinch of salt because they can be a bit patronising if they think you don't have it but either way you have a problem that needs sorting with gynae

Thanks a lot everybody. I live in Middlesbrough in England it's in the north east. I am just worried they will say it's nothing. What is the waiting list to see the gynoe? And for the lap?

I've just noticed I wrote 33 months supply of the pill. I meant 3 months. Three packs of 28 pills.

my DD was on the tablets for 3months and was getting no where  she came off the tablets after we heard of the side effects etc. and she wnet on the Agnus Castus whchi are better for you in the long run..  she has to have time off work etc so will be glad when the op is done.  before she was referred she had scans, urine samples blood test and even an MRI so ask for all these too.  he should not make you wait if you are in pain and feel ill.
