What do you feel like when Sertraline starts to work?

Don't get me wrong, I am not in the rush tho. All of us wants some relief and complete success. I believe in that, thanks to @kate32457 stories on medication and in coming off. It gives me so much hope to be able to feel myself again and end negativity.
I am only in week 5, but my instinct says push through. I feel okay than the days i'm not on this med. Although, it's been a rough journey. As the bad days hit me on week 5 (lol tbh i felt sad) but people here said bad days are normal tho.
Question is, what do you feel? I mean, does it feel like a switch from off to on? or gradual. I am just curious tho. I know it varies from person to person but how does it feel? Any progress stories of feeling better are welcomed.

I've been wondering the same..I've been on Sertraline for almost 3 weeks now and haven't really noticed any positive changes in my mood, somedays I actually feel worse, other days I feel a tiny bit of hope, I guess that may be the Sertraline slowly building up and trying to balance things out. So hang in there, as I am too!

Yo bro, we are on the same boat don't worry, uhm i felt improvements during weeks 1-4. But for you to be prepared and informed, expect bad days on upcoming weeks. ("it makes you feel worse first then from there it's going to be uphill" So push through if you feel something's going on. It means the med is working. Gotchu. You'll be yourself again soon enough. Trust the process! (easier said than done, but remember you are not alone)

Thanks, I will keep this in mind when I find myself in doubt! A few questions..Does the foggyness wear off? (I noticed this right off the back when I started the med), sometimes I feel spacey too. Sleepyness go away? Appetite go back to normal? I have a few other symptoms but they are tolerable and go away almost instantly, headaches take awhile to go away but eventually they do. Thanks if you can reply. Hope you're having better days or close to.

I've had health anxiety for 10 yrs always thinking im going to die or collapse or something bad happen. I'm back on Sertraline (day 5 today) and I feel worse than I did so i'm hoping It moves to the working part soon. I'm in a constant state or scared, nervousness, jumpy panicky hypersensitive with tingly skin.
