DJs! Trying to listen to music and they keep rattling on arrogantly. And we won't mention that partifular DJ!!!! Shriek.

The only one I liked was John Peel, bring back John Peel. Oh and Kenny Everiit for the comedy factor.although I never listened to him on the radio. John was my boy!

Good morning Milly, and welcome to today's attempt at putting the world to rights.

There are a really great bunch of people on this posting, and the prospect of not being able to chat to anyone while we are away has prompted me to buy a MIFI unit, so that I can take my computer on holiday with me and remain in contact through t'internet.

Not that I'm expecting much of a reception in a forest, but hey ho I'm going to try.

Definitely Milly, when I have a bad night I'm virtually useless the next day.

Don't worry Arch you'll be talking to trees and they'll be talking back if you take enough acid! cheesygrin

Many thanks for your warm welcome Archemedes, yes we do have a lot of good people in here ,this is good and makes it easier to deal with things.

Re being away from their contact while away ,we always take our laptop with us ,and I keep in touch with my family that way,so I will be doing the same when we go away again,I will not miss their  contact because I will come in online via our laptop.smile smile....we use  a Dongle for our reception ,as the site doen`t have WIFI ,and no telephone lines either .but we do get a decent reception with the dongle. What will you be using ?we went to visit some friend in a forest site last time we were on the IOW, may I ask what is the name of the site you are on ? who knows it maybe the same as they were on,it was in a forest

There's certainly enough of 'em in that forest.

Last time I took the dog for a walk there I got lost and the dog had to save me.

I'm not going to mention the site by name of here Milly, but you will know it as it is not far from the Tesco hyperstore, and the owner is Pat G - lovely, lovely people. cheesygrin

PS I will pm you with the name of the site and it's exact location.

I was going to cut your name down to that of Arch ,but felt it was not good enough sooooooooooooooooooooo I wil cut it down to the first 3 letters in it ,this I feel is more suitable for you Arc.....than arch ... sorry Georgia  not meaning anything to your shortening of the name

My dog has a wicked kiss - it's sort of all-enveloping. On this occasion he didn't need to give me mouth to mouth. redface

As for internet reception, I bought a MIFI unit which is similar to a dongle only larger.

The main benefit is that it allows up to 10 internet-based gadgets to connect to the internet simultaneously.

      i am super silly

yesterday i put my sofa throw and a washing tab in the tumble dryer

luckly i noticed my mistake before i switched on .phewwwwwwwwwwwwweek i ordered my shopping from asda on tuesday in stead of thursday

i think i am loosing it big time

    • Posted

At least the throw would have been nice and dry before you washed it. lol

As we get older Tis we all make silly mistakes, and I am no different to you.

I put washing-up liquid in the dishwasher the other day instead of dishwasher powder, and last week when I was washing up a few dishes in the sink I poured the best part of 1/2 a bottle of olive oil into the sink instead of washing-up liquid.

I continually lose my house keys, and them find them again in the very place that I've looked several times already.

I often put my shirt on inside out, and have to have this pointed out to me, and I've even been out wearing one shoe each from two separate pairs.

So you think you're bad eh?

    • Posted

thank god for that hun ,i feel better when other people say they do the daft stuff to .i love the olive oil in the washing up that sounds very much like the sort of thing i would do .

You wouldn't if you had to get it off as I did. It sticks like glue.

Believe me, I've done dafter things than that, but I'm too ashamed to mention them.

On one occasion I got as far as the town centre in the car and was just about to get out to go to the bank, when I looked down and found that I had forgotten to put my trousers on.

      Beat that if you can!
