just wondering what albumin in the urine means? recently had a urine sample back and was told the albumin level is slightly high just curious as to what it means ? thanks

There can be many reasons why you have protein in your urine, being that it was only slightly high for you it shouldnt be anything serious, for example it can be stress, excessive exercise, orthostatic albuminuria which i have its a benign condition where a person leaks protein into the urine when standing up. One way to see if you have this is by having your doctor take morning urine from you the first urine of the day is most accurate
