I have a similar question, but in my case I don't think that "caused by" or "due to" fits.

    Here is my text:

"Normal values of supination and pronation are 80-90 degrees when the elbow id held at 90 degrees of flexion. Variations will occur with significant swelling at the elbow secondary to the shared capsule."

What does "secondary to" mean in this context?
