What does this look like?

Hello can anyone tell me what is wrong here? Very itchy and now sore. ringing in ear. is it an infection or healing from a poked eardrum?

I'm afraid you need a doctor's advice. I had an ear infection, then a fungal ear infection (different medications). Still got the latter I think but leaving for now as I thought the medication was making it worse.

Could be both. You certainly have something going on there. Please dont put anything in your ear. As my doctor used to say. "the only thing you can put in your ear is your elbow".
Wonder how you got that photo.
See your doctor. You should be able to get a telephone consultation and he/she will decide if you need to be seen.

Yes i suppose that's always going to be the best option to talk to a doctor.
Don't worry about the pic, it was taken very carefully with a ear scope camera.
