What does this look like? Got swabbed negative but driving myself crazy

Got swabbed negative but still believe this is herpes. Maybe I tested too late.

First began mildly in July, dry skin and peeling. stopped shaving thinking it was irritation but it only worsened so i went to the doctor in september. Was swabbed and diagnosed with some sort of dermatitis and prescribed an ointment which cleared it up in a few days. Decided to ditch the razor and had my first wax when i was sure everything was healed. Was all fine until now a month later there's another area in between my butt cheeks that appears to be a sore. And now that i think of it, every now and then I always get this same single sore in this area. But always thought it was some kind of ingrown hair.

I'd like to know if anyone had a similar experience with their herpes outbreak. Just need some peace of mind and clarity

    what does the sore in bwtn your butt cheeks look like ? these photos look like a rash to me though but not sure
