What does this mean? Grade D LA grade D espohgitis

Posted , 2 users are following.

After suffering for since May with worsening reflux to the point it's become constant and food sticks in my throat, it's painful to swallow and I lost 15 pounds, I finally got upper endoscopy on Monday. The surgeon told me I have LA grade D espohgitis. That my entire esophagus is inflamed and I have erosions through out.

I have no follow appointment and received a note that said there are no signs of cancer no followup needed.

Can anyone here explain this to me? I the medical system is so broken right now. This is the best I got.

I would get in touch with your own doctor. The surgeon will have informed your doctor of the upper endoscopy. He/she will prescribe treatment to take. Hope this helps
