What foods can I try to improve my sleep?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have not been sleeping well and i think a major reason may be my diet. I often eat dinner an hour before bed, and my dinner normally consists of rice or pasta. Could this be the reason why? Additionally, I've heard myths about turkey contributing to better sleep, is this true? Overall, what foods would you suggest for me to have so that i can get some better sleep? Thanks smile

Rice and pasta quickly raise your blood sugar levels which will certainly keep you awake. Avoid all cafiene after 6 pm and avoid chocolate and sugar. Milk is very good for sleeping. Try not to eat too late in the evening.

Hi Pearl,I do believe that Turkey has a chemical in it that makes you sleepy like how melatonin in your brain puts you to sleep at night.
