What happens after PIP review

I was awarded PIP until Dec 2017 but have been asked to attend a review assessment on 16th March.
after reading all the history stories about PIP being stopped or reduced, I am worried about what i young to happen
does anyone know the following:
- if I do not receive the same amount of points as my original assessment, will my PIP reduce from the date of the new assessment or from an earlier date (I.e. The date I was sent the review form)
- would the assessor go back even further to create on overpayment from an earlier date(hope that makes sense).
I stated that there had been an improvement with managing medication and dressing from the original assessment but I was not awarded any points anyway for managing medication and only 2 points for dressing which even if those points were reduced to 0 I would still have been awarded the same amount of PIP.
any advice you can provide is much appreciated.
thanks

Hi Zorro,
the points will be shown on the assessor's report. I sent for the report just a few days following my face to face so that I would know exactly what the assessor wrote about me and to prepare for an MR if one was needed.

I have just been throu all this after my review I scored 0 points it's is not a very nice experience I asked for reconsideration. And still 0 points after a tribunal hearing 7 months in i was awarded more points than I originally had. My advice is to collect as much medical edvisence as possible take letters from gp consultants etc all prescriptions drugs. Take someone to he assement with you do not go alone. Answer all ? As your worst day , also you can have your medical reports from your gp at a charge of £50 I would highly reccomend this. If at your assement you score lower points yes they will stop your money with ameidate affect good luck

Your right Adelle. I was give lest points after my assessment. I put in MR and have come tasted them twice for update. I was told their waiting for medical evidence from consultant and GP. I lost my mobility component even though I am actually worse. But even though they've not made a decision yet as waiting for this. I have just received a letter to say my weekly benefit has gone up and I've got mobility back. Just makes you wonder what their doing. Good luck everyone else.
