Hi Guys, I find the following helps with the symptoms:

    - Eating

    - Drinking warm herbal teas

    - Stretching my neck out, it seems worse when looking down, say at a phone for example

    - Having a lie down & relaxing as much as possible

    - Yoga

    - Gently rubbing / massaging the neck

    - Trying not to think about it too much

    smile

I'm 17 and have been experiencing this on and off since last October. What I found works for me is eating ,drinking does little help , minty stuff sorta , warm tea helps too. I could manage this but the feeling of can't breathe properly is annoying.
