What is Capsular Hypertrophy?

Hi,

Following an ultrasound scan of the shoulder area a diagnosis of capsular hypertrophy at the acromioclavicular joint has been given.

No further treatment has been recommended and I'm trying to find out more information on what it is, how it happened and how it can be overcame?
