What is it?

It started 6 months ago as a small bump under my skin.

Since then got bigger, now it's 5mm wide.

I accidentally scratched it twice last week and bleed a bit. Once was almost healed I accidentally broke it again. Now again it's in healing process and I take extra care not to do it again. There is/was no pain or excessive bleeding, just my fear not to be something bad.

The 2nd picture was taken shortly after I scratch it and the 1st one is how it looks today.

I've seen my GP and I was referred to see a specialist.

I've seen a plastic surgeon consultant who told me looks like a seborrheic keratosis. He doesn't think I should be worried.

He will remove this thing for me in few weeks using an incision around. He also will send it for biopsy.

I am concerned TBH.

Does anyone had a similar issue?

Thank you

If you only have only one of these please dont worry. You are doing all the right things and the biopsy will tell your consultant if anything else needs to be done. In future please use plenty of high Sun Protection Factor SPF on your face to deter any more appearing as they are caused by sun damage.

Be careful Freddie mercury had the same problem according to documentaries. I guess you will only know when the doctor gives you the results.
