What is my vagina supposed to feel like? Is this normal?

I know this question is ridiculous but its genuine. I have a firm bulge at my vaginal opening that I can push on and "reduce" with a finger. It almost feels like a round pouch at the top of my vagina (front side, so when I push on it, it moves toward my stomach) that goes on about half a finger deep. I very occasionally have pain when urinating but no dragging sensation or pelvic pain.
Is this normal? What does a vagina normally feel like? Are the walls supposed to be firm or touch at all?

Hi, No question is ridiculous, we all need answers lol. The bulge you are talking about is it where urethra is ? are you feeling it the bulge anytime while moving about or during sex ? is it possible to take a picture of it ? Normally your vagina walls will have ridges in the inside and feel a little firm as it is muscle you know ? yes they do touch as there is nothing to keep it open like during sex it expands and allows the penis to enter. Like when you insert a tampon it will open once removed they will go back to normal. You can see this when you examine yourself in front of a mirror or your phone.

The bulge is kind of behind my urethra. It's hard to explain but I have a flap of skin right by my urethra and just behind it, into the opening of my vagina, is where the bulge is. I've only had sex once, over a year ago, and it was uncomfortable but not painful. I tried to get pictures but they're not the best. Thanks for your reassurance!

everything looks fine and normal. We are all made differently, size, shape colour you know. So i assure you that your vagina is normal. Sex for the first time can be a little uncomfortable since you don't really know what to expect and how it should feel you know ? Afterwards you will know what is normal and what feels abnormal that something may be wrong. As long as you have no abnormal symptoms like pelvic pain, pain when urinating, itchy followed with white thick discharge your ok.

Thank you so much, I feel a lot better about it! I don't have thick discharge, pain, or itching. Sometimes a few days after my period I'll have pain urinating.

Do you have very painful periods? How often do you have pain when urinating?

I don't usually have painful periods, normal cramps the first day or two but they're mild and maybe a 3/10 max. But they're irregular and always have been. The pain when urinating is about once or twice a month and usually a few days after my period.
