What is the best way too change my time taking sertiline

Hello, I want too change my time when I take my sertaline? Now I'm taking it @ 11:30 pm and want too change it too 8:00pm due too tossing and turning before I fall a sleep. I'm not sure how too go about this and I was wondering has any one cut a sertaline 25mg tablet in half ? I might have too up my dose in 3wks and I'm worried about the side effects again on the whole 25mg tablet. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank-You in advance

    For changing times, what I did was every night took my pill 15 minutes earlier then the night before until I reached the time I wanted. As for pill splitting, I've never done that.

    Hi, sertraline is a stimulant that should be taken in the morning. Why are you taking them at night? I'm just curious!

      Hello, because of the side effects I had and I have always taken my pills @ night.

    you can certainly take it any time of the morning, day or night you wish

    (this is written in the leaflet which is found in the box)
