Chances are high that I want my plate removed later on. How long will I be down again if I do this? Another 6-8 weeks? Has anyone had theirs removed?

I too would like mine removed and would be interested in real life examples also.

I asked my physio this question and he said that it would be 4 weeks total, 2 weeks back in the boot followed by just 2 weeks to get back to full strength/ROM. He said it's nothing compared to the recovery from surgery (I had ORIF for trimalleolar fracture).
