What is the reason for my constant nausea??

HI I am a 20 yr old girl, weight 43kg height 158cm.

I have been suffering with constant nausea for around 2 years.

I had an endoscopy done 1 year ago and it resulted that my stomach valve does not close properly which is the reason why I suffer from acid reflux but dr said that it should not be affecting my life and causing all the nausea.

I also feel like a lump stuck in throat. Both lump and nausea are there 24/7! from when I wake up till I sleep which is frustrating as I really wish to know the reason why.

I am careful about the food that I eat , I try to avoid food which causes reflux and I do not drink any alcohol and I don't smoke. I also try and eat 3hrs before bed time.

I also had a blood result done last year and all was good.

I am fed up with the constant nausea and don't know what other tests should I do and I do not know what is causing all this nausea?! Help me please cause I am tired day by day waking up to this nausea and staying there all day.

Sorry for the long post but I've had enough sad

If the valve doesn't close properly then the acid cause be causing you to throw up as mine was like that, a ph test should tell them if that causing you to be sick! I would definitely mention the ph test to your doctors and also mention about going to see a specialist as these can put you in for the test and have you also tried anit sickness medication as that can some times work?

Ask for a stomach emptying test to look for gastroparesis where the stomach doesn't empty properly.  This condition can cause nausea.

What is that exactly please since I never heard of it?

Gastroparesis is when the stomach takes longer to empty than it should.  A stomach emptying test measures how quickly your stomach empties itself of food.

I had the exact same symptoms, and had the gastric emptying test, and I was diagnosed with Gastroparesis. It takes longer for food to digest. You have to eat small portions several times a day. That helps. There are two medications that can sometimes help-Reglan and Domperidone. I have to get the Domperidone from Canada, but you have to have a dr. who will write a prescription for it..

I will search about that test since I never heard of it! Thank you and hope you are better
