What is the recovery time for removing a small ovarian cyst from a small incision?

I am suppose to be getting surgery done on my stomach to remove a small 5cm ovarian cyst. After that I will have a whole 9 days of rest before I go back to school, but when I go back to school, I will have tennis. Will I be ok to play? How long will I have to wait before playing again? I don't want to leave my doubles partner by herself! Thank you for reading this!

    Are you having open surgery or keyhole? If it's open surgery it's not enough time at all, you would need min 6 weeks and won't be playing tennis for a couple of months I would think. ( I had open surgery)

    If keyhole, the recovery is much faster.

    I think it was about two weeks for keyhole. But your insides are still healing so I wouldn’t do anything that would over exert yourself.
